Château Pape Clément is one of the oldest Grand Crus in Bordeaux. Its vineyard, with its first harvest taking place in 1252, was established in the 13th century by Bertrand de Got, a younger member of a noble family in the Bordeaux region. Bertrand de Got, who later became Pope Clement V in 1305, was the Archbishop of Bordeaux. The Château takes its name from him, and its wine has become an icon.

You will begin the tour in the centuries-old park, where the majestic history of Château Pape Clément will be narrated to you. Then, you will proceed to the vineyard, explore the impressive wooden vat room and cellars, before being led to the cellar where a chapel and the spirit of Pope Clement V lie, along with very ancient vintages of our Grand Cru Classé.
